Dr. Francis Lim is an Associate Professor in the Sociology Division, School of Social Sciences at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). His research interests revolve around religion and tourism in various Asian cultures and societies. He has conducted research in Nepal, Singapore, and various sites in China.

Dr. Khun Eng Kuah is the Distinguished Professor of Anthropology and Chinese Diaspora Studies at the School of International Studies/ Academy of Overseas Chinese Studies, Jinan University (Guangzhou, China). Her visiting positions include institutions like Harvard-Yenching Institute, Harvard University, University of Paris, Oxford University and Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

Dr. Lin Chia Tsun is an Associate Faculty at the Singapore University of Social Sciences. She specializes in Overseas Chinese Studies, Migration and Diaspora studies. She is currently involved as an active researcher in several research projects on Singapore's cultural heritage.

Wu Yu obtained her Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Jinan University, China. She is currently a MA student at the Department of Southeast Asian Studies at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Kelvin is an independent researcher with an interest in the socio-political histories of the Chinese communities in Singapore and the region. He holds a B.A. (Hons) in History from the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Lynn Wong

Lynn Wong

Lynn Wong is a firm advocate of making heritage accessible to the masses. She founded the Ho Yeah Festival to showcase the richness in diversity of the Cantonese and Hakka community in Singapore. She is also a self-taught filmmaker who has won awards including the UNESCO Asia Pacific Youth Intangible Cultural Heritage Storytelling Special Prize.

Chih Hsien is an independent researcher with special interests in Chinese kampong, education, and religious festivals in Singapore and Malaysia. He obtained his MA in History from National Chi Nan University (Taiwan).

Wei Sheng is an undergraduate currently pursuing a degree in Chinese Studies with a minor in Special Needs Education and Translation at Nanyang Technological University Singapore (NTU). Her studies in NTU have led her to develop a deep interest in the studies of overseas Chinese, specifically in cultural heritage.

Ruizhong is an undergraduate at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He is currently pursuing a double major in History and Sociology. His research interests are centered around the overlapping social and environmental histories of Singapore.

Jessica is a student researcher at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), pursuing her studies in traditional Confucian values and Buddhist etiquette. She has taken up volunteerism and philanthropy for Fo Guang Shan temple and is also teaching Buddhist dharma for younger children.

Her interests span a range of historical subjects from East Asian pop culture and diplomatic history, to the intricacies of the various Chinese religions

Yu Liang is an undergraduate majoring in History and minoring in Religious and Southeast Asian Studies at the National University of Singapore (NUS). His research interests lie in investigating how religion affects culture, society and politics in Southeast Asia, both in the past and the present.
